Home Buyers Feeling High Anxiety

May 16th, 2015 4:58 AM by Christopher Terry

A recent survey conducted by Chase Bank reveals HIGH ANXIETY from home buyers!

The survey shows that home buyers are more anxious about buying a home (70%) that they are about getting a root canal (64%) or public speaking (62%). It also showed that the process can cause tension between couples with budgeting being the major issue. The survey also found a disconnect between home buyer confidence and a knowledge of the home buying process.

An example of this is that 43% of home buyers said they believe getting a mortgage will be easier this year and 42% said they aren't at all concerned about a lack of understanding of the mortgage process. In addition, only one-in-four could correctly answer questions about home buying from down payments, percentage rates and how lenders work.

This brings up an important question! If 43% believe getting a mortgage will be easier, and 42% aren't at all concerned about a lack of understanding of the mortgage process then why is it that 70% feel such high anxiety?

Here's my take on it. Because no one has taken the time to help the home buyer understand the home buying process. From beginning to end. From the moment they start looking through to getting the keys at the closing. And without an understanding of the process, there is high anxiety and procrastination.

We have the solution. It's our FREE, No-Obligation 30 Minute Home Buyer Consultation. Gain an understanding of the home buying process and eliminate the stress and anxiety of the unknown.
