The Neighborhood Stabilization Program was established to help stabilize communities facing foreclosures and abandoned properties. Rhode Island is to receive more than 6.3 million while Massachuetts will receive more than 7.3 million. This means that financial resources maybe available to help you buy and rehab short sale, foreclosure or abandoned properties.
NSP has set up a resource exchange to help with the process. Home buyers can not receive funds directly from HUD and therefore must contact a NSP Grantee for application details.
